My mom was asking a few weeks ago what my and my brother's favorite cake flavors are, so I was curious to see what other people's are. Or if you prefer a different kind of desert what is your favorite? (My favorite cake is a yellow cake with raspberry jam and custard as a filling and a lemon cream cheese frosting)

german chocolate is a favorite, but i like danish pastries quite a bit too :x any flavor, really. also mocha almond fudge ice cream. but i do change up the flavor if i have it for a while. :3 i like to try new ones too

Guinness cake. Absolutely gorgeous.

Vegan carrot cake. A friend made me one years ago for my birthday, so for my 30th birthday, I bought one from the natural foods store i work at. So good.

Im a sucker for funfetti cake. Bonus points if its frosted with coconut frosting.

But seriously though...I don't think there are any cake flavors I hate. I enjoy trying out new cake flavors as they are developed.

I'm not a big cake fan and usually hate frosting/icing on my cake, but I'm pretty fond of carrot cake.

I'm not a big cake eater. I need to be in the mood for it and can only eat a small amount. Most of the time I'll only eat a little of the icing because it ends up being way too sweet/rich (maybe the words I'm looking for) for my liking.....which is why I prefer ice cream cake.

Southern Style cornbread, in a skillet. Its not my birthday without one.

Something layered, light, and covered with in a light whipped cream-like frosting. I prefer fruity or zesty flavours.

I've recently learnt how to make a black chocolate cake that is lighter than anything I've ever eaten, and I love to top it with a quick, rich raspberry buttercream. My ideal is usually something I've made, and with fresh ingredients, so I feel less guilty eating almost the whole thing!

I can go for a black forest cake right now!

carrot cake is my favorite. Though I would try just about any kind of cake.

I love white chocolate raspberry cake. It's a white cake with white chocolate frosting on top and in the middle, and a filling of raspberry sauce in the middle as well.

Chocolate cake with chocolate chips and extra chocolate frosting...oh, and mint chocolate chip ice cream on the side (all vegan)! I kiiind of like chocolate. :D
